Sartre wrote in the 1940s that “existence precedes essence”, providing a basis for our existence in freedom from any pre-conceived notions. The freedom of choice, to choose what we want to make out of our existence. For us, that choice is to read, write and learn about humanity’s passion for looking at the night sky and creating stories, to bind together and create a collective to be left behind as our legacy.
